Finishing inFamous at 90% makes me proud, but I still want to go back and get the last few bits to 100% it. It’ll be the first time I’ve gotten a platinum trophy and given the amount I play, I should do that at least once.
Still, it’s time for a break from the game and on to something else, which leads me to the list of games to look at next:
Uncharted 2 : PS3
The chances are high this is the next thing I’m going to play. I’ve heard nothing but good things (and indeed, exceptional things) about this game and I loved the first one. A little colour after the grey of inFamous perhaps?
Bayonetta : PS3
A friend came over and played a bit of this the other day and it put me in the mood do go through it. I played a little bit one day and got stuck quickly which put me off but it’s just a case of being more awake when you play!
Vanquish : PS3
This kept being pushed back with other games coming to the fore, but it’s calling me…
Bioshock : PS3
With Dead Space 2 becoming a memory, is it time to dedicate some play time to this other atmospheric game?
Dead Space Extraction : PS3
More Dead Space? Yes please! The only downside of this (and I’m being very lazy here) is that I’d need to set up the Move camera and make sure the controllers are charged. OK, yes, I’m being very very lazy. In fact, now I want to go do that…
Super Mario Galaxy : Wii
Not something I expected on this list, but after the Wii got some love at the weekend with Crystal Chronicles, I realised I missed not playing on it and while SMG put me off when I first played it, I’m much more in the mood for it now. It has the huge advantage in that it’s something I can play with Alicia watching, and that’s good. Only problem is that I leant it to someone and it’ll take a while to get back…
Mass Effect : XBox
After playing this a year or so ago and not getting into it, I’ve subsequently become a lot better at all the skills this game needs that I didn’t have. I’m quite interested in going back to it.
So there we go; a few there to get my teeth into. Watch this space.
